KB VMStandalone host update

1. Enable SSH

2. Set Host in Maintenance mode

3. Select Data Store and upload Offline Bundle

4. Putty to host

5. Determine which VIBs are installed on the host: esxcli –server= software vib list
Determine which image profiles are available in the depot.: esxcli –server= software sources profile list –depot=http:///
Update the existing image profile to include the VIBs or install new VIBs: esxcli software profile update -d /vmfs/volumes// -p Verify that the VIBs are installed on your ESXi host: esxcli –server= software vib list
esxcli software profile update -d /vmfs/volumes// -p esxcli software profile update -d /vmfs/volumes/LUN-03/VMware-ESXi-7.0U3-18644231-depot.zip -p ESXi-7.0U3-18644231-standard
6. reboot

7. Check host

8. Exit Maintenance mode
